POOLREGS2 Swimming Pool Regulations Short Course

CPD Training (RTO) will be running an in-depth two-day course that concentrates on the requirements of Swimming Pool legislation and the relevant Australian Standards. The course will benefit those who inspect or install swimming pool barriers in NSW.

Those who attend a course will be exposed to:

• the requirements of the Swimming Pool Act and Regulations
• the exemption requirements of the Act and when they are applicable
• how to adequately inspect a swimming pool barrier using practical and real case scenarios
• how to use a checklist and adequately record inspection results
• how to enforce the legal requirements of the Swimming pool legislation and implement legal action
• how to interact with clients in a regulated environment
• the recirculation requirements of the Australian Standard 1926 and how to prevent swimming pool entrapment
• how to complete the online register for those issuing certificates
