CDC Complying Development Course

Program structure

This is a one-day interactive face to face course that focuses on the requirements of Complying Development Certificate assessment by a building certifiers practicing in NSW.

On completion of the course you will have increased knowledge and skills in a range of elements and scenarios across the CDC application process.

The course will provide a focus on delivery, assessment and evaluation of Complying Development Applications using a best practice model, in particular:

1. Best practice CDC models for a range of scenarios in the built environment;
2. Research skills in identifying, locating and interpreting the relevant sections of the BCA, legislation, regulations and SEPP’s ;
3. Documented and evidence based decision making processes for issuing CDC’s;
4. Increased knowledge of policy and procedures for issuing CDCs in NSW;
5. Knowledge of the BPB Accreditation Scheme requirements;
6. A better understanding of ethical behavior.

The course will be delivered in a one day interactive face to face environment which includes real case scenarios. Electronic learning resource material will also be provided. The course will offer you the opportunity to ask questions and to provide examples for discussion.

The course will be delivered throughout both the Sydney CBD area as well as the major regional centres.
